Dr. Oluwadare Joshua OYEBODE is a seasoned, multi-faceted, visionary, dynamic and innovative Civil Engineer who combines teaching, research, and community development with Professional practice. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. He also obtained his M.Sc. degree and PhD in Civil Engineering (Water Resources and Environmental Engineering Option) from the University of Ibadan. He gained industrial experience in the water section of the works and maintenance department at the University of Ibadan. He practised briefly in Consulting Civil and Structural Engineering by designing and supervising several structural engineering works before joining academia. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD). His research interests are in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, Energy Technology Management, hydraulics and Hydrological Studies, Construction Management, Solid Waste Management, Pollution abatement of surface water, and Simulation and Optimization of Wastewater Treatment facilities. He has published over 195 articles in conference proceedings, and reputable local and international journals with 61 indexed in Scopus and 1120 citations on Google Scholar. He has displayed extensive ingenuity in his professional practice with an unusual personality of multiple and variegated credentials. He has served on several committees in ABUAD and he is an Evaluator and the Desk officer for Outcome Based Education (OBE) for ABUAD. His achievements and antecedents in all facets of the profession are testaments to his visionary and undiluted commitment to societal development. He registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) in 2012 and has his practicing license up to date. He is a member of the following learned and professional associations such as American Society of Civil Engineer (ASCE); Environmental and Water Resources Institute of ASCE (EWRI), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM Chartered); International Association for Engineers (IAENG); Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE); Nigerian Institution of Water Engineers (NIWE), Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (NICE), Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers (NIEE), Strategic Institute for Natural Resources and Human Development (FRHD), SafERR Ambassador of World Safety Organization (WSO), Fellow of Institute of Policy Management Development (IPMD), Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (FIPMA) and many others with an array of recognition awards in his kitty. He distinguished himself by winning many awards and serving on several committees in ABUAD, NSE and as a resource person for COREN accreditation of some Nigerian universities. Nashrul Fazli Bin Mohd Nasir is currently an Associate Professor and the Deputy Dean (Academic and Research), Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis. He has more than 20 years of experience in Biomedical Engineering. He was one of the founders of the Biomedical Electronic Engineering Programme in Universiti Malaysia Perlis and was her first Programme Chairman. Due to his vast experience in Biomedical Engineering, he is appointed as committee member in various Malaysian Biomedical Engineering and Biomaterials academic societies such as Electrical Engineering Technical Division of Healthcare and Biomedical Working Group (the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia), Malaysian Chapter of the Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB), Malaysian Society of Medical and Biological Engineers (MSMBE), Malaysian Biomaterials Society, Medical Device Authority (MDA)’s Medical Device Technical Competency Working Committee and also a Full Member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society.
